Camp LELA | Heritage Ukraine

Formula 1 was great camp for boys! They learned what it means to be a man according to the Biblical principles. They also had a great time doing a variety of different activities. They learned how to drive a real car and all about what goes on under the hood of a car. What's better than driving a car?? Shooting a gun and a bow!     Plenty of time for sports activities, bike riding, and swimming, too!      And building their own race carts!      There was even a little time for hanging around the camp site and talking with our leaders about life.  Thirty-two boys accepted Christ this week! Praise God for the work in the hearts of these kids and pray for this seed to keep on growing.

 Well, is building a camp ever completed?? We continue to make changes, improve things, and build new things each week. However, for the most part our building project is complete. Before  After We have everything for a great camp! Tents Toilets and Showers Dining Area Meeting Area  Craft Tent Sports Area   Medical Center Kitchen Welcome Area and Security Station Prayer Tent Children's Play Area and Pool    Of course, we have the flag and a dinner bell! In the building, we have sleeping rooms for some staff, craft storage, sports storage, theatrical costume storage, all team meeting area, and a coordinators office. It was an immense project and we are grateful for the prayer support, financial support, and the help of many volunteers.

Thank you so much for supporting us in your prayers. God is faithful and He continues to give answers to our prayers. The construction of the camp is almost finished there are few things left that need to be done. We continue to work inside of the building where we will have our Day Center and our offices starting in September. Please pray for the finances. Our plan is to host 700 children this summer.  Pray that God would provide for all the financial needs. Praise God for what He has already provided!   Please keep on praying for the children. Hundreds of children will come to Camp LELA and it is guaranteed that they will have fun, but we also want for their hearts to be open to the word of God and for them to come to know His love.    Please pray for the volunteers that take part at them camp, that God would give them strength, patience, love for these children, and that God would teach them through their serving at camp.    Please pray for more volunteers, as we st

As you can see from some of our recent updates, the construction and building of the camp site continues. Please continue to pray for the good weather and for volunteers to come to help with construction and preparation of the territory. We have 2 weeks before the camps start! Please pray for the finances. Our plan is to host 700 children this summer. We still have to collect finances for about 200 children. Pray that God would send us this money. Please pray for the children. Hundreds of children will come to Camp LELA and it is guaranteed that they will have fun, but we also want for their hearts to be open to the word of God and for them to come to know His love. Please keep on praying for the team writing the program and the final preparations they make before the camp. Please pray for the volunteers, for God to bring godly people to be the leaders and teams members. We need about 100 more people to be on the team and serve with us.

Thank you friends for your prayers and support. God continues to bless us with great weather. We still need more volunteers to do work, so please pray for more people to come and be willing to serve.   The showers for adults are finished, and now we are working on showers for children. Also, we are almost done with dining area. We still need to put up the big tent for meetings and all the tents for kids, too! Please continue to pray for good weather and for our volunteers.
